A prototype version of the 2020 Nissan Titan wrapped in full camouflage has recently been spotted on the public road testing. This full-size pickup truck has received minor changes and several revisions for the 2020 model years. As a reminder, the Titan pickup truck has received a full redesign in 2016 for the Titan XD model and it was sold as a 2017 model year. Some changes including minor revisions and facelifts on the new Titan seem to offer quite solid improvements.
The 2020 Nissan Titan seems to get a number of changes and revisions that are quite subtle for its exterior design, although this pickup truck is wrapped in full camouflage on the public road testing in Michigan. The most striking changes are seen in the front and rear ends design of the car, as well as some updates for the interior. The EPA-estimated fuel economy for the current model are rated at 15 mpg in the city, 21 mpg on the highway, and 18 mpg combined. However, Nissan will also reportedly offer several new engine options on the upcoming Titan, including a 3.7-liter V6 engine for the base model, an V8 engine for the 2020 Titan XD, and a turbodiesel 5.0-liter Cummins V8 engine that is claimed to increase its towing capacity and driving range.
The estimated release date is currently available with the 2020 Nissan Titan is likely to be launched in North America later this year. Meanwhile, the official price tag may not be much different from the current Titan price which goes on sale in U.S. showrooms with an starting price of $31,785 for the base model and $66,295 for the Titan XD Diesel Platinum Crew Cab 4×4. Key competitors for the 2020 Nissan Titan include the Toyota Tundra, Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado 1500, and Ram 1500. Although the previous generation Nissan Titan has lagged behind its competitors in terms of interior quality and rugged capability.
