A prototype version of the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT Widebody has recently been caught by spy photographer cameras in the public road testing. The prototype car is equipped with several new equipment and one of the most striking from the outside is the new wheel design. In addition, the new prototype version is equipped with a new rear spoiler adopted from the current Charger SRT HELLCAT.

This Michigan-based automaker has also pinned some unique equipment on the 2020 Charger SRT HELLCAT Widebody, including a unique new set of wheels, unique dual five-spoke wheels design, and Widebody-version of the multi-spoke wheel design derived from the Charger SRT HELLCAT, SRT392, and R/T Scat Pack with a Dynamics Package.
Under the hood, the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT Widebody is still powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine rated at 717 horsepower. Some other changes seen in the prototype version include the new front fascia similar to the Durango SRT, and the rear fascia was revised to suit Widebody’s new design. The 6.2L HEMI V8 unit also gets the same additional cooling system as the current SRT HELLCAT model.
Speaking of the release date, the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT Widebody is scheduled to make its official debut later this June at the FCA What’s New Event held at the Chelsea Proving Grounds. After that, the new Charger SRT HELLCAT Widebody will be introduced to the public at Woodward Dream Cruise in August, according to Mopar Insiders.
